can I serve alcohol in your space?

Yes, you can. In order to serve alcohol for a private event (invited only and not sold with tickets), you must pull and sign an additional liability waiver, consent to a credit authorization for damages, and select the upgraded Alcohol Beverage and Food option. You may not sell alcohol without the required license from the City of Somerville and must follow the applicable laws for proper service. For more information, visit somervillema.gov, including obtaining alcohol insurance.

is the baby grand piano available?

No, sorry. The baby grand piano was removed to make the space more flexible for other groups besides pianists. We do, however, offer a professional performance 88-key keyboard with weighted keys and built-in speakers for instruction, private practice, or rehearsal use at no additional cost.

can I schedule a walk-through or site visit?

In order to keep the space affordably priced, we don’t offer guided site visits, but we do offer self-guided site visits. You can schedule one here for half an hour. The Green Room is entirely DIY. We provide remote access, and you set up the room. The images we have accurately depict the space, and because it’s a single room of 500 square feet, what you see is what you get. But we understand that you sometimes have to feel out of the space, so we offer the self-guided option.
